Meet Our Teachers

Lindsey Dicello

Certified Bith Doula, RYT-200, and RYPT yoga teacher Lindsey is passionate about connecting students with their bodies. She opened Austin Yoga Lounge to create a space for pregnant students to embrace pregnancy, prepare for labor, and enter this stage of life supported and empowered.

Lindsey's passion for yoga began during her teenage years when she stumbled upon its healing effects. As she began to incorporate the practice into her daily routine, she found that it not only helped her manage anxiety but also aided in her journey to overcome disordered eating. As her love for yoga deepened, she devoted her early twenties to studying the practice in depth. She taught Intuitive Yoga at Woodstock Yoga Lounge (Illinois) before moving to Austin in 2020.

Lindsey holds RYT-200 credentials through Woodstock Yoga Lounge and her RYPT Prenatal and postnatal Arhanta Yoga Academy.  She completed her Doula birth training through DONA International and is passionate about empowering folks through their pregnancy journey.

Throughout her yoga journey, Lindsey has learned from various Iyengar teachers and has focused on using asana as a therapy to further enhance the practice's healing benefits. Her teaching style is alignment-based, which helps connect her students to their bodies and calms their minds. With thoughtfully crafted sequences, Lindsey aims to help her students understand their bodies better and balance their minds and bodies for a more holistic approach to wellness.

Maggie Anbalagan

Maggie has always found healing through physical movement. She has been a runner, cyclist, strength trainer and sweat-seeker for much of her life. But yoga was her first encounter with movement that was integrated with breath in a way that unlocked a deeper layer of self-awareness and discovery. Yoga challenged her in new ways both physically and mentally, but it also gave her permission to simply be as she was. This kind of true embodiment and acceptance is a gift she seeks to share with her students.

Maggie holds RYT-500 credentials through Practice Yoga (Austin, Texas) and her Prenatal training through Yoga Yoga (also in Austin). She has been teaching since 2016. She also completed her 300-hr training while pregnant with her first child, which provided even more intimate insight into how yoga can be accessible and supportive during the physical, emotional and spiritual transition to motherhood. Her classes are approachable but not afraid of hard work. They create community through shared breath and practice, while also honoring the unique experience of each body present. Maggie weaves flow with alignment yoga in a way that takes students deeper into their practice mindfully and purposefully. In every class you can expect to be guided towards the truest teacher that lives within yourself.

Alexandra Vaughn

Alexandra, a certified pre/postnatal corrective exercise specialist, offers fitness training that supports mothers’ transforming bodies, empowering them from their core. She works with women who are preparing for birth, recovering from it and years into motherhood, coaching them on how to move with confidence and build strength holistically. She has specialized training in diastasis recti and pelvic floor dysfunction, and she takes great care in helping women to prevent and heal these conditions. Her love of movement began in the ballet studio and has since transcended into functional movement, yoga, Pilates, barre and dance parties in her kitchen with her husband, two boys and pup.

Ciara Brinkmann

Ciara is a yoga teacher based in Austin, TX. As a dedicated practitioner for over a decade, Ciara aims to link dynamic and alignment based movement with conscious breathing to enable students to experience the clarity, focus, and ease that the mind body connection offers.

As a mother of two who has deeply benefitted from this practice, Ciara is particularly passionate about sharing the tools and resources she's learned through prenatal and postnatal yoga. She hopes to empower students in a digestible and approachable way during the life-changing transformation of bringing new life into the world.

Ciara completed her 200-hour training through Boston Yoga School under the guidance of Ame Wren, Ben Chused, and Monica Trobagis.

Taylor Fox
Taylor Fox's yoga journey began in 2015 as solace from post-work stress and traffic. This led her to discover peace and empowerment, inspiring her to become a yoga teacher. She aims to share her transformative experience, guiding students to find ease, joy, and strength within themselves.

Specializing in Vinyasa and Hatha yoga, Taylor is a registered yoga teacher (RYT 200) certified through Austin School of Yoga in 2019. Andrea Barton

Andrea began attending yoga classes in 2000 but it was years later, during pregnancy, when she began to feel a deeper connection to the philosophy and practice. Prenatal and postnatal yoga classes offered comfort, support and a feeling of spaciousness, physically and emotionally, amidst the challenges and constant changes of motherhood. Following the birth of three children and one big career change, Andrea has continued to support women's wellness for the past several years as a 500-hr, registered prenatal and registered children's yoga teacher. Andrea is a yoga therapist in-training with YogaLife Institute and a certified childbirth educator through DTI. She volunteers weekly with Postpartum Support International, facilitating peer support groups for perinatal mental health and assisting help seekers on their free helpline.
